I think the biggest struggle in writing these things is the struggle to be earnest and at the same time, not self-indulgent. Still, it's a process, and I'm sure that these will come together in time.
Either way, it's a new year, and probably a good time to make things come together.
I used to listen to this song when I would get off class and ride my bike back to my apartment. I don't think that it really brings back memories worth remembering, but it's very evocative of that feeling.
